To be honest – nobody knows how it smelt, around the world there is a lot of speculation about the scent of nard oil in ancient times. We tried to do it, we went to Jerusalem, we spoke with professionals… Last but not least – we read the Bible. In our laboratory we recreated the nearest smell of true, organic nard.

Spikenard oil – the smell of the Bible!

In the Song of Songs, nard oil is the smell of love that the Bride holds for the Bridegroom. In ancient Israel, spikenard oil was serving to anoint the Kings, and as a component of sacred oils used for priestly activities. BibleSPA decided to recreate this composition of aromas. Fill your home with the smell of prayer. You may be surprised but nard is a class of aromatic essential oil which is derived from nardostachys plant of the valerian family.
