A store in the Vatican is the dream of every religious merchandise manufacturer, so it’s no wonder this idea had been brewing in our heads. However, the path wasn’t so straight. First, we live in Malta and study a theology in Poland so logistic was pretty hard from the begining. Second, can you just find an advertisement for a renting property in the Vatican on a website? Certainly, it seemes unlikely. However, nothing is impossible for those who believe!

Rome Wasn’t Built in a Day

Of course, Rome wasn’t built in a day. After completing all the formalities and signing a preliminary agreement with the Vatican, we had to wait over a month. When the reply finally arrived from Rome, it turned out that… we hadn’t received approval. We actually breathed a sigh of relief, as the entire investment seemed beyond us at the time. Imagine our surprise, however, when a week later the real estate agency contacted us again to say there had been a misunderstanding… Our proposal for a store selling Catholic gadgets and biblical cosmetics was accepted! But as the locals say, Rome wasn’t built in a day! Renovating a Renaissance tenement house that’s been abandoned for almost a decade takes time and a lot of money… and a ton of paperwork. The paperwork and documents alone could wallpaper the entire Colosseum!

BIBLE SPA is a shop with cosmetics inspired by HOLY BIBLE! You will find here NARD perfume oil, biblical shea butter and holy orthodox oils! And of course a wine lip-gloss because “Your lips are seeter than wine”!

Finally, during the conclave we managed to get all permissions and open the doors for our BIBLE SPA SHOP!
